About

Through its affiliation with Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) offers a five-year innovative medical school program designed to train physician investigators. Classes are limited to 32 students per year, giving the program a close-knit family feeling. The curriculum is problem-based, and assessment —our students don’t receive grades — is portfolio-based. All students receive full tuition scholarship.

While at CCLCM, students practice medicine alongside world-renowned physicians, and they conduct basic/translational and clinical research with investigators working on the leading edge of medical science.

Diversity is our strength. We attract exceptional students from a wide variety of backgrounds because we believe a diverse student body engenders richness of thought and discovery. Since our beginning, we have intentionally sought students with intellectual achievement; interpersonal skills; varied research interests and experiences; varied personal and professional journeys; diverse cultures, race, ethnicities, religions, gender and sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, and more.
